Now taking a very heavily loaded canopy out and docking on the wing of one of those gliders (probably in a bit of a dive) would have been badass.

I have 30 hours in a Blanik. AWESOME gliders. forward sweep, all metal, badass. super fun to fly. watching this stunt was awesome, not really the jumper, kinda weak on his part. the pilots are jedi. the yaw control through that roll! amazing. And I have never done a two-ship landing in gliders, only airplanes. awesome stuff.
