[:/]I have done just on 500 miles on the bike in the last 2 days and I am knackered - I'm not used to hammering down the motorway anymore.

On the bright side I set a new personal record (inadvertently) sitting and cruising in the fast lane 6pm Oxford 40 miles, 6:05 Oxford 30miles:) Since I normally try and stick to the speed limit averaging 120MPh over 10 miles probably won't happen again just shows how "sweet" my bike is that you don't notice the speed.

sounds like he went 10 miles in 5 minutes which is 120mph.
he must have been passing cars like crazy. evidently no police around.:| [/:|]

He's not in the USofA (like many of us) the motorways where he is are likely far less populated, than you are thinking,

Correct - in the UK it is fairly "normal" to average 80 to 90 MPH on the motorway, admittedly this is clock speed not true speed as I guess most vehicles over-estimate your speed by about 5%.

I don't normally speed not because of police but because some time ago I was doing circa 100 and some idiot foreign truck pulled into the fast lane at about 40, before I could react I was past him and I was just very lucky that there was room to get through. Since then I figure that the couple of minutes you save doing 75+ isn't worth the increased danger.

Yesterday was an exception, I was tired of riding as I had already done 3 hours on the bike and I just wanted to get home before it got dark and I could see rain in the distance which I wanted to beat. I would be lying to say it wasn't a rush when I realised just how quick I had been going.
