kai2k1 0 #1 May 10, 2005 I sent this to Gatorz Last night. Quote Comments :. I have a pair of Wraptorz that I purchased about 4 months ago. First I would like to say that they ROCK!! They are the most comfortable sunglasses I have ever worn. I'm having a problem with my earpieces. They will not stay on. Is there anyway that I can order a new set of the rubber earpieces?? Also Any chance of ordering another protective bag for them? Thanks for making such a kick ass product. Here's how they responded today: QuoteSorry to hear about the rubber strips. Please email me your address and we will send you out some extra strips and a new sock. Thanks for your support! AndyMan 7 #2 May 10, 2005 I love my Gatorz, but the first thing I did was remove the rubber strips. The added bulk made them uncomfortable when I wore a tight helmet. YMMV, of course. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
AggieDave 6 #3 May 10, 2005 That's nice they're being nice to you, I had a pair of Transformers (new hing style) that after a month of wearing the hinges popped out of the ear piece. I sent them in since they were less then a year old, they wouldn't fix them as agreed and stated in their own documentation. Basically they told me to fuck off. All in all I hate the customer service of the company, although I do like most of their products. Which is sad.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." brits17 0 #4 May 10, 2005 That sucks Dave... My experience with them has been all good. I've lost the lil nosepiece twice and they've always sent me replacements free. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com
flypunk 0 #5 May 11, 2005 I used to have a pair, and after 3 years the hinges broke off clean. What sucked was that they wouldnt even honor the $40 fix it all fee, cuz they discontinued the model, so their response was sorry better luck next time. Can't say I feel compelled to buy anything of theirs since their lifetime warranty/guarantee is only as good as they decide to keep your model around. ... My wife and I have sent two sets back for lens replacement at no charge. Katie mangled a set and got them completely replaced for like $45 dollars. jose 0 #8 May 14, 2005 Dave, are you fucking kidding me? Are these the pair I sold you? If they are, and even if they are not, contact me and lets make it right. I haven't been very happy with the people I have been dealing with very much either, so I really dont care if I piss them off. B.
AggieDave 6 #9 May 14, 2005 Nope, not the pair I bought from you. Those (Billets) have the old style hinges that are actually worth a damn. They're holding up very nicely (even with stood the june bug I caught in the lens doing 80mph on my bike). The pair I was talking about were a pair of Transformers with the new style hinges.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
