Spring in the Pacific NorthWet

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is a camera geek and sent me this link to some of his spring pictures taken up by our dropzone in Mt. Vernon WA.

It is always a cool site in the spring to see the fields of tulips and daffodils from the air, but a short drive over to the RoozenGarde Farm just over the river from us is truly amazing. The variety and up close colors are phenomenal.

Here are John's Pics

Enjoy

I loved springtime when I lived up there on Whidbey Island, but one year I overslept and missed it :P

Beautiful area - I hope to see it again some day soon.

We are heading over to Anacortes on Sunday - I'll have to take time to stop and smell the roses (tulips);) Always a beautiful time of year over there.

Thanks for bring me back home! And, did anyone see the canopy in one of the pics? Or is that me just being wishful?

Although they are starting the Mt. Vernon DZ up again, I'm pretty sure that was a kite being flown, probably over at Tulip Town, one of other large farms/tourist attractions up there.

Here's another pic, from two weeks ago.
