Tiger6513 0 #1 April 23, 2010 I am participating in a Wiffle Ball tournament benefiting the Travis Roy Foundation. For those who are not familiar with his story, Travis Roy had made the hockey team for Boston University in 1995 and was just 11 seconds into his debut game when he was involved with a life changing collision into the boards. Travis suffered a devastating fracture to his C-4 vertebral body that ended his ability to use his arms and legs. Unwilling to cash in on life he decided to start a foundation to help those with spinal cord injuries. We are skydivers, we have either been witness to or have read about our companions facing injury or worse, this cause supports the study of, and future treatment for spinal cord injury. Travis Roy Foundation also gives spinal cord injury victims the tools, wheelchairs (very specialized and expensive), that give these unfortunate people the ability to regain mobility that has been lost due to their injury. This year we are hoping to crest the 1 Million dollars raised mark! Please help us reach this goal. This link will take you to the donation page as well as provide several links for you to learn more about the foundation and the amazing replica wiffle ball fields Litte Fenway and Little Wrigley. https://atl.etapestry.com/fundraiser/TravisRoyFoundation/WiffleBallTournament/individual.do?participationRef=2535.0.54293539 I sincerely appreciate your support, Tony DeangelisTravis Roy Foundation. Tiger6513 0 #2 April 23, 2010 www.TravisRoyFoundation.org is the homepage and www.littleFenway.com/fenway/home is the field. This is our teams site including my two brothers Jugzwiffleball.com . I assure you this is no scam, just a way for our family to give back to the sports community that has served us so well. If even 1 person who has suffered this type of injury is helped by our combined efforts (including my family's and my own) then we are hugely successful!Travis Roy Foundation.
