BillyVance 35 #51 April 23, 2010 QuoteThat explains the U shape, More of a "Rip" than a slice! Yep, that it was... one of those things that bites you when you don't expect it. I was surprised that it didn't hurt at all. The only reason I went to the ER was to make sure it wouldn't get infected, and because my last tetanus shot was nearly 20 years ago."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
skyrider 0 #52 April 23, 2010 Fitrst sign you are in deep shit..."It doesn;t hurt yet!" When I shattered my leg, (13 breaks between the knee and ankle) I hasd hit a truck on my motorcycle, the bike flipped up straight, then spun and slapped my leg between the bumper and motor...Every bend in the motor broke my leg! I just reached down to turn the key off, (the bike never fell) and went to get off the bike, Intending to kick the shit out of the guy in the truck , My knee hit the ground, right next to my foot, still pointing forward...First thought in my head was, "Damn that is going to hurt tonight"..... We have a kewl protective part of our brian, that shuts off pain overloads...for a while.....
BillyVance 35 #53 April 23, 2010 Fucking OUCH! Never a good sign when your limb ends up in an unnatural position! I was lucky. My finger has not hurt beyond feeling a little itch where it's healing. Only times it hurts is when I bump it, or the baby grabs it. Now if the wood kickback broke my finger, that would be a different story.
