katzurki 0 #1 May 7, 2005 Around a typical household, what do you think will make the best makeshift pull-up cord for a single packjob? Need to show a friend how to pack, and neither of us happen to have it here. I'm thinking, Shoe lace, but the thing just keeps tearing up on me. katzurki 0 #3 May 7, 2005 Ha! I am not at my place! (gotcha). Although this is no excuse for him for not having a pullup cord at HIS place, I agree. But, that comes with extra beer, so I grudgingly accept
hookitt 1 #4 May 7, 2005 Fold the shoelace in half. It will be stronger and since both aglets will be on the same side of the closing loop, you can pull the lace out with out messing up the ends.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Travman 6 #5 May 7, 2005 I got 2 pull up cords in my rig back, one in a pocket on my rig and a pack boy.

katzurki 0 #10 May 8, 2005 Okay, a couple shoelaces and bottles of some evil liquid later we've found out that alcohol-influenced pack jobs tend to be very meticulous. By some miraculous coincidence, rubber stows become really fragile and break all over.
