MrBester 0 #3 May 4, 2005 I got a Rainbow freefly suit second hand. While I cannot comment on their customer service, I can say a thing or two about the quality of their products. My suit seems to be built of a very strong and durable material - I put it to the test under various conditions and in various places (meaning body parts). Although my right knee was hurting quite a lot from the unexpected encounter with the taxi way, the suit does not show any signs of damage... Mine came with all the usual features and one or two more like swoop cords (which I don't use) and the high collar (which I like very much, especially during the winter season). The fit of my suit is excellent, but I guess that's just pure luck because I bought it second hand. I like wearing it on the ground, in the air, while packing and hanging out on the DZ. They're pretty much the standard in Germany (Relative Work as well as Freefly). If you want quality you go for Rainbow over here. You might want to check out their site: Rainbow Design [Sorry for the shitty pic but it's the only one I got...]
Gandhi 0 #4 May 4, 2005 thanks very much for your opinions MrBester.. yeh as i said, those who i have spoken to who own rainbow stuff are all very happy with what they have ended up with, i was just curious to know because i'd never encountered them before.. i'll consider that along with matter then! quote 'you are to go around... next time extend your landing gear'
freekflyguy 0 #5 May 4, 2005 I am an instructor at RAPA in Germany, you may know my boss Paul "Ginge" Moore who used to jump at P Lee. All our staff FS suits are Rainbow, and all the free flyers on staff have Rainbow FF pants. They also make great swoop pants. There kit is bullet proof, I cannot recomend it highly enough. They have started doing a FF pant/jacket combi which is the mutts nuts. If you have any probs ordering one from the UK let me know and I will do it for you. I am not a dealer and cant offer any deals but we do have a good relationship with Rainbow. BuzzIt's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. dragon2 2 #9 May 6, 2005 A lot of folks here have their warm suits from rainbow. they last like 10 yrs or more of heavy duty use (crw, tandems etc). Great suits, very comfy and durable! ciel bleu, Saskia
