The shop is trying to talk me into trading my old Fazer for a 125 commuter because they know that I commute a couple of miles each day regardless of weather. My wife wants me to get a push-bike for the commute so I lose the bear belly - I figure having won this battle I should give her thatExperienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. JohnMitchell 16 #19 May 9, 2010 Good looking bike. What's the displacement? I see you went with an import. Did you check out any of the Triumph models? If so, why did you prefer the Yamaha? I used to ride, but my beautiful new bride asked my to give that up a few years back. Hey, but we still skydive together.

I like small light bikes and was very tempted by the Kawasaki 250 Ninja but I didn't end up going for a test ride as I guess I am used to the 600's.Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. JohnMitchell 16 #21 May 9, 2010 I used to have a Yamaha 650 twin, a copy of the Triumph double thumpers. I also owned a Triumph Spitfire at the time. I always figured I didn't need a bike as unreliable as my car.
