So you have it bad huh, just how bad?

Summary of the last 2 yrs:
Got divorced
lost everything, had a 19"tv and an air matress in my home.
both my labs got out and ran over in the highway
Had to replace the roof (storm damage)
totalled my car from a hit and run driver.
Lost my job
got robbed (good thing I didnt have alot)
tornado hit neighborhood (sux without power for 8 days)
And last week the a/c unit went out.

Had more of life than I can stand

Other hand, 2 healthy kids,a job and a few good friends.

I heard about that tornado that hit Albertville. It's bad there. Sorry to hear about the rest. So the bitch took EVERYTHING but the TV and air mattress??? What a BITCH!

Well, my entire life doesn't suck. But there are some things that I could do without: i.e. knee injury and possible surgery and missing the whole summer of skydiving. That certainly sucks.

On the other hand, I've got a good job, great family, and I just met a great guy. So life doesn't suck entirely.

try having a few kids and see what that does to your skydiving. i just got back in the air after 4 1/2 years with only 3 jumps. at least with a knee injury you can still go to the dz and hang out.

That's true, but if you're a good parent and you welcomed the child into your world with open arms and have your priorities straight, then by all means, do the right thing. The skies will always be there.

I've only made something like 30 jumps in the last 3 years combined, now that I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old (today's her birthday BTW).

The trade off is well worth it.

I may not have a job at the moment but I have my health and the love of a good woman (hope the wife doesn't find out ) and some great mates - oh and I'm going jumping this weekend.

Try having kids you say?? Actually I believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So I'd rather not, thank you very much. I DO go to the DZ and hang out- because I prevent those kids from happening!! See how that works?? Oh, I guess not. Well, now you know.
