Andy0689 0 #1 May 30, 2010 My wife got back from Iraq a week ago and has been in Washington. She's flying home to GA tonight for a weekend visit. Wouldn't you guess that her connection in Detroit was late and then had to abort their takeoff because some lady wouldn't control her lap child on the runway. Next to come is weather delays over Atlanta so the flight was held again (still in Detroit). Now arrival is delayed to 10 pm and it was originally 8. Flight status says they are still awaiting takeoff. This weekend was supposed to be a surprise for the kids. I told them we were picking up a friend at the airport and that they had to go along for the ride. They are expecting mom next Saturday. I haven't decided if I should take the kids tonight or just have them wake up in the morning all surprised to see that Mom is home. I think it would be cool for them to wake up in the morning from her rousting them up or for them to come down and see her making breakfast.Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
