skyrider 0 #26 June 10, 2010 Quote This scenario is also putting the pilot's license at risk. It "always" involves more than one person...thanks for adding that point!
JohnRich 4 #27 June 10, 2010 QuoteAt some point you have to allow people to assume risk on their own and trust they will do the right thing. This applies to sex, skydiving, base jumping, LIFE. True. But you hope that they have all the facts first when they make their choices.
turtlespeed 226 #28 June 10, 2010 Had a guy once ask me to turn his cypress on because he had forgotten to turn it on while on the ground. I told him "No." and that I would not do anything with his rig. The problem was that we were at 6k. I was called a dick and an asshole, but I did not mind my own business by submitting to his request, and did not do as I was asked. Saved the guy a little bit of money for a repack though, and maybe his life. But you go ahead around in life and MYOB if you want. When you are about to make a big mistake, maybe Karma will be there to help others not get involved and you will finally learn that valuable lesson about helping people. Sucks that people have to learn that the hard way though, don't you think?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
Shotgun 1 #29 June 10, 2010 Quote Quote Quote Why is this poll looking different from the others? My guess is that people often don't vote seriously in these silly polls. OK. So, when people don't take it seriously, they will tell me I'm jumping a risky rig. When they take it seriously (the other polls) they will let me jump into a rancid vagina or walk in on my wife with another guy? I have no idea whether anyone was taking the other polls seriously either. Well, I know that I wasn't taking them too seriously. This is the Bonfire, after all.
