You also know of the person and really couldn't care less wether or not you piss them off by telling their business. Do you tell his wife the risk or do you just stay out of it and hope that the person tells the truth?

So "know of" would imply you dont actually know this person.
So i would put this in the same category as the other post. MYOB, it has nothing to do with you.
Also given the person flew halfway around the world one can assume you dont know the said persons wife. Which kind of makes the post pointless.

However assuming you did know either or both of them.

"You found out" does that mean you KNOW with certainty, and have factual proof that it occurred or are you working from supposition, rumour and hear say.

If the latter and you in fact dont know anything but are merely working on rumour, i'd question your motives for wanting to tell anyone.
