Slider keeper and reserve flap wear and tear?

This may have already been asked, I didn't bother to do a search.....

I was just wondering if you have the "bungee, ball, and band" kind of slider keeper, how bad will the friction from the movement of the bungee wear into the underside of your reserve flap? Is this something perhaps we should be concerned about?

I haven't seen much if any wear problems from it. I however don't like the system vvery much as it's a snag hazzard. I Far prefer the Velcro tab on the yoke.

I much prefer slider catchers sewn to main risers, so if I am having a bad day, I can cut away all the mess with one stroke.
