Zenister 0 #26 December 28, 2007 Quote I think it will inspire a lot of kids to take up music. Hope it does anyways. As long as HALO doesn't inspire kids to get RPG's. i'd like to hope that too.. but the pessimist in me sees the declining attention span of youth (not that i can point fingers, but i DID learn how to play several instruments) coupled with the time it takes to get to a reasonable level of skill to be able to play together in the same time/same key as well as the cost of separate instruments when compared to pretending to be rock god overnight and says the tend will go the other way.... for example I saw a kid who was absolutely owning the GHIII game when they had it on the big screen in the mall.. Me: "wow your pretty good at that, how long have you been playing?" Him: "oh a few years really i had the first one when it came out." M: "thats cool do you play real guitar"? him: "no that is to much work" ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. ianmdrennan 2 #27 June 17, 2010 Yeah, I'm necro threading, but considering RB3 is coming out - look at their answer to the people who say "Learn to play the real thing". Note, this is an option and the original 5 button controller mode still exists. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi6QuHGyGCYPerformance Designs Factory Team
