200 Jumps in One Day - Parkinson's Research

I've asked for permission from Sangiro and the moderators to post this also.

My teammate is doing 200 jumps in one day on Wednesday (16 June 2010). 199+ Hop 'n Pops, and one planefull for a formation jump.

We've raised over $60,000 so far this year (in addition to over $45,000 two years ago with the 100 jumps in one day). The DZ.com community gave great support 2 years ago for the 100 Perfect Jumps event as well.

What a great cause and results!! People can donate, volunteer (Skydive Twin Cities), buy a t-shirt, or give well wishes and support as good vibes and messages.

One deal sweetener this year is we are doing a 100 ticket raffle to win a PD canopy. 100 tickets only $100 each.

I've added an attachment explaining what to do if you are local -
if someone wants to buy a raffle ticket off site, buy them here: https://www.charitybox.com/pam/default.asp?www.charitybox.com

Note in the special instructions box that it’s for a chance ticket for Perfect Jumps.

Cool stuff! Looks like they've really put forth a solid organizing effort into it. So, do on-line purchased raffle tickets reduce the number of chances people get to buy at manifest? Or just dilute the pool? :P

Either way, good stuff. Post pics of the final formation when it's all done!

So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

100 tickets total - that's all. I believe they gave a certain number of the outstanding tickets to the online place. But I'm not really affiliated other than as a volunteer. One could send a note to Perfect jumps and ask directly.

Wow, I wish that this had been posted earlier, so that many others might have been able to donate. I cannot donate $100 at the moment, but this is truly a cause that is close to my heart. [:/]

You never posted your team mate's name, and I don't remember it at the moment. I have met him at a P3 bigway camp, and I think that what he is doing is awesome. I hope that it went well, and that a lot of donations were raised for Parkinson's Research. Let us know, if he plans to do this again next year, and thanks for sharing this. :)
