Can a website have a listing for a business without the business' permission?

Google the term "fair use." It'll answer each question you have, and leave you with 1,000 questions that you didn't know that you had.

I'l put it this way - is the listing something you or your partner would consider "piracy?" Are they looking at making money off of using your good name? If so, is it factual. For example, if I represented IBM as a client, do you think IBM would have the right to sue me if I listed it as a client? Probably not - I'm not using their copyright or trademark.
