downwardspiral 0 #1 September 14, 2006 My question...... Can a website have a listing for a business without the business' permission? Thanks, Jasonwww.FourWheelerHB.com
Sockpuppet 0 #2 September 14, 2006 Yes, as contact info tel nos, addresses are considered in the public domain. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

downwardspiral 0 #4 September 14, 2006 Thanks guys. Any idea where I might find it in writing? My business partner believes differently and I'm not sure he'll trust my source even if I do agree with you two.www.FourWheelerHB.com

It'll answer each question you have, and leave you with 1,000 questions that you didn't know that you had. I'l put it this way - is the listing something you or your partner would consider "piracy?" Are they looking at making money off of using your good name? If so, is it factual. For example, if I represented IBM as a client, do you think IBM would have the right to sue me if I listed it as a client? Probably not - I'm not using their copyright or trademark. My wife is hotter than your wife.
