Chances are you would end up working right where you are for a civilian company making 2-3 times what your making now and teaching your current co-workers how to use the equipment. You can also get stateside gigs but they don't pay as well as the overseas ones. I've been in group for 4 years as a support guy already, dont really know if I want to go to the dark side.
