Do you use that loop for a closing loop?

Tell me I'm not seeing this, please.

No, I hope I was answering the question about making a continuous loop, for bracelet/necklace purposes. The perils of subject drift...

Jefferey,

You know the "sliding loop" bracelets, where there's two loop knots that slide to make the bracelet larger or smaller?

It'd be like that, but with finger trapping the ends of the line into the body of the bracelet rather than external knots around the bracelet...

Here's an example of the sliding knot bracelet I'm talking about...

That knot is what we call a prusic knot, we use it for climbing. It mantains the tension in the rope "inline" and does not weaken the line. I also use it for necklace knots ;) but not with non-breakable lines:o
