So today I'm under the house doing some plumbing (there's no basement, just a crawlspace) and while under there I found a letter. I guess Kevin intercepted it from the mailbox, ripped it open to see what it was, and then he hid it under the house. This was 28 years ago and it's hard not to wonder what Kevin is doing these days? Probably a good job Kevin's dad didn't have to do any work on the plumbing. I live in a 100-year old house and occasionally come across some interesting stuff if I'm taking up floorboards or removing fireplaces - mainly just old newspapers though. I did once find a mixed bag of old coins inexplicably hidden under the floor - they didn't seem to have any great value, so maybe someone had left them there as no more than a surprise gift for a future owner.
