LongWayToFall 0 #202 May 6, 2010 Good man. I gotta commend you for being a good sport, it seems most of the wings fans I talk to are pissed about the refs or some junk, where you seem to not need to provide excuses. I gotta say, thinking about this thread after a sharks game has provided me with additional enthusiasm!!! Look at it this way, your team has many a cup, and the magic is not gone but minimized, where the Sharks would value more than anything just a single cup. To be a sharks fan while they get that goal is all someone could ask for (hope for). Go sharks!!!!!!!!!!!!
LaRusic 0 #203 May 6, 2010 its funny, ive heard a lot of wings fans complaining about the reffing....sure it may not have been great BUT they seem to forget the first round where the refs favored them very heavily. It was pretty well a gift that they beat phoenix Sharks FTW....cant believe i said that being a pens fan and all lolThe Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver #
grimmie 186 #204 May 6, 2010 The Wings lack youth and goaltending. Last year's game seven in the finals sealed their fate for the next few years. Come on Hawks! I really want to see Sid hoist the Cup in front of Hossa again!!!!!! Let's go Pens!!
masterrig 1 #205 May 6, 2010 I just don't understand the Wings. They beat those clowns at least 3-times out of 4 during the regular season! They just aren't being consistant for 60-minutes. The Wings have had too many stupid calls on them... like Homer getting called for goalie interference and Nabakov was several feet out of the crease! Every other goal the Wings score, gets reviewed! Zets did NOT kick that one goal that was negated in the last game. I'm not into conspiracy theories or whining but I just have a lot of questions. Maybe, the Sharks learned too good from Mike Babcock! As much as I would just love to see the Wings be the third team in NHL history to coma-back from a 3-0 defecit, it ain't gonna happen. PLFKING 4 #221 May 7, 2010 Quote Can't imagine either team not showing up for this one! I guess the Wings unspooled just enough primer cord tonight. Versus handed off their coverage to some outfit called Comcast Sportsnet California, who were so unbelievably biased that it almost made the game unwatchable. I laughed out loud when, with about 2 minutes left to play, one of the announcers commented on the fact that Babcock was still rolling Zetterberg and Datsyuk out for their normal shifts, and the other announcer stated " Babcock knows they'll take care of themselves, and he knows the Sharks won't get chippy or anything -- this is playoff hockey." Made me wonder what game he was watching. I hope you have fun at the game, but that you're ultimately disappointed when you leave. Don"When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. masterrig 1 #223 May 7, 2010 The third period went as expected. The Sharks were trying to put Wings players out on stretchers. I'm sure, the Sharks were frustrated and showed it. The next game in san Jose is going to be ugly! I just hope, the Wings get through it and get game six in Detroit. What a series!!! chuck
