happythoughts 0 #1 July 5, 2010 Someone asked me a question. This question was similar in personal value to "what is your fav color?". Hypothetically, someone else said, "no it isn't." Ummm... what? If 3 of the other persons friends agree with them, it doesn't necessarily mean that (a) they are right or (b) the friends even agree with them actually "I'll say that I agree so that this goober will get off the phone." So, do I know what I'm thinking?
NWFlyer 2 #2 July 5, 2010 I think you're wrong ... at least in the wrong forum. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

riddler 0 #9 July 7, 2010 Someone asked me a question. This question was similar in personal value to "what is your fav color?". OK, with you so far, but it would help to have the actual question. Hypothetically, someone else said, "no it isn't." Huh? Someone asks you a question like 'what is your favorite color?', then someone else answers 'no, it isn't'. That's not an answer to the question. Or at least, maybe you could come up with another theoretical question that more closely matches the real question. Ummm... what? Yeah, that's what I said. If 3 of the other persons friends Who's friends? The one that asked the question, or the one that prematurely answered? agree with them, it doesn't necessarily mean that (a) they are right or You mean that everyone else thinks they know what your answer should be, even if your answer is different? Example: you are gay, but you don't want to admit it, even if all your friends know it. (b) the friends even agree with them actually So, someone, maybe the person that asked the question, or maybe the person that answered for you, is fabricating a story about how their friends all agree with him/her, even though you don't believe this person? "I'll say that I agree so that this goober will get off the phone." What? You mean you are agreeing to the other person's opinion, even though he/she answered incorrectly for you, and then fabricated a story about how three of his/her friends agree with him/her, just to get off the phone call? Wait ... what happened to the person that originally asked the question? Is this a three-way phone call? So, do I know what I'm thinking? I don't think even God knows what you're thinking right now. Or at least, it's not very clear.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

happythoughts 0 #11 July 8, 2010 Quote I just saw him the other day and , I swear, he seemed OK then! Well, sure, but that was at the party. There are certain things that are a matter of opinion. I have one and I'm entitled to it. So, nobody can tell me I'm wrong about something that only I know. Even though, they seem to think they can discuss it. No he doesn't . . . Next you'll say that Lucky and Dreamdancer know what they are thinking . . . What's next after that . . . Billvon and Quade and then Kallend? Where does it end?I guess when you say that Divot doesn't really suck cock . . . happythoughts 0 #13 July 9, 2010 Seems like it would work both ways. I can't count how many times a g/f looked at me and said, "What was I thinking?" I just stand there and blink. Got no idear. None of those fake blondes for me.
