Mr.Bill 0 #1 July 6, 2010 Looking for an inexpensive hand held digital video camera I can use basically to inventory the house and its possessions. Need to be able to put the video on a DVD mainly to have a record of items in the house. Any suggestions?
DSE 5 #2 July 6, 2010 if it's indoors, I'd spend out for the Sony CX110. Does well in low light, very detailed. Can be instantly burned to DVD or HD disc
Mr.Bill 0 #3 July 7, 2010 Thanks for the suggestion, anything under $300?
DSE 5 #4 July 7, 2010 At 300.00, you're right on the tipping point. Spend just over 200.00 and you get a decent camera but miss a lot of great features. Spend just under 400.00 and you get the kitchen sink. I like my H55 for what it is, it's taken some great shots. Here are some scouting shots I took with it yesterday. Some of those shots are Blackberry Storm in a dark setting, but most are the 55. It's on a lot of sites for around 249.00. it's only 720p video, but the pix are pretty decent, it has a good lens. The digital zoom blows but all of em' do.

Mr.Bill 0 #13 July 9, 2010 Thanks Conor, if it won't shoot decent video indoors it will not serve the purpose I need it for.
