The guy has mad skillz, and like Barry Gibb, is, unbenknownst to many, behind a lot of good popular music. To torture the point a bit, when Dwight Eisenhower first left the Presidency in 1961, he didn't know how to use a dial telephone: his entire adult life, aides or operators had always placed his call for him. And in the 1980's, our first President Bush took a lot of shit when he was amazed at price-scanners in supermarkets; he'd never seen them before. Not only has he written great music from the beginning of his career, he's still putting out good stuff.
