bradboy199 0 #26 July 30, 2010 Dropping weight is equal parts diet and exercise...the equation is simple, if calories inFighting sports are great for getting in shape not just for the physical aspects but also because fighters are used to making weight and have plenty of insight to share. Just remember the sit in the sauna for a couple hours stuff is just to shed water to make weight...definitely not helpful in trying to lose fat. Good luck, and don't give up... When I blew my knee out I got over 240, but I got back down to 185. It can be done.
MrDree 0 #27 July 30, 2010 I would go for Muay Thai, because i think it's better for what you want to achieve: when you know the basics, you can buy a heavy bag and practice on your own, without a sparring partner and without much risk of injuries. Just my 0.02. Have fun! "One day, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching." Dudeist Skydiver #
