PLFXpert 0 #2 April 16, 2010 Yey! I was hoping it would_actually_be good. I admit, I thought Role Models was funny (I put off watching it for a while because it looked lame) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse was fantastic; so when I read about (even saw a preview! ) this movie (yes, I also like Nicholas Cage) I was hoping it would not be a royal waste. Thanks! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
quade 4 #3 April 16, 2010 Chloe Moretz, the actress that plays Hit-Girl, is a freekin' super nova in this. Just looking at her in this movie you can tell she's going to be amazing as she gets older. It's like seeing Christina Ricci in the first Addams Family all over.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
PLFXpert 0 #4 April 16, 2010 Ehhh. I like Ricci, but how does Moretz compare to Fanning? Fanning, is the only actress since Jolie I "discovered" early on and still LOVE. Ricci is fine, but...I mean what is this new movie she has coming out? After.Life? (Edit: BTW, Ricci in the first Adams Family_was_wonderful. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. quade 4 #5 April 16, 2010 I just used Ricci as an example, but could have just as easily used; Fanning or Foster or Watson. This kid can have any career she wants. It's hers to lose at this point. You can't say that about 99% of kid actors because the vast majority are only going to be good as long as they're kids. Some are noticeably different early on and this is one of them.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

CarrieByTheSea 0 #9 August 8, 2010 Quote OMG. Yes, it certainly does. OMG, it is certainly OK. Starts off royally slow. Storyline royally predictable. Hit Girl royally comic-person's dream who wished his/her Big Daddy trained them so well. (Phenomenal little up-and-comer actress, though. Hope she doesn't go Lindsay.) What I_did_enjoy about the movie is once again winning a place-that-face bet. I have a wicked ability to never forget a face and place it in record timing. I immediately recognized a face and instantly everyone else did too, but could not place it. Ten seconds later (a good time for me. It usually takes 20 to 40 seconds) I knew I had just seen the skydiver chick from Dropzone (which I have seen once--maybe twice--when I was 13.) Seriously, someone should pay me for my face-placing skills. It is no numchucks, but I rock at it.
