Squeak 17 #1 August 22, 2010 I took my friends kids (11 and 12 yo) to a game of Dungeons and Dragons (some new quest launch "The Cistern of Aravek") yesterday. I was surprised at the average age of the participants. Kid were in the minority. Most were adults, and VERY few were nerdy looking types. and there were a few women there also. Spoke with a few and there were folks from manual labouring fields to corporate Mgrs. Generally an eclectic mix and interesting bunch. Not at all the what stereotypes would have you believe. Anyone here play DnD??You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
Shotgun 1 #2 August 22, 2010 I played it when I was a kid, thanks to one of my teachers, and it was quite fun. Almost 40 now, and haven't played it since then, but I am interested.......

Anyone here play DnD?? My cousins husband has a yearly game he hosts and has been doing that for 15 plus yrs. He spends months making game cards, etc. Each little metal looking game piece is about 100 bucks and he has boxes of them. The people he plays make those guys from "the big bang" show look normal. Age range of the players that go to his house are 20-60 and there are 6-10 of them who play this yearly game.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

kasch 0 #11 August 23, 2010 Haven't played it but I enjoy reading the books. ...but don't tell anyone i said that Sex with sith is like sex with a stripper. A lot of flashing lights and waving of glowing sabers, but in the end you end up with something dark and wrinkely. DPH# "-13" TSK# "-13"
Icon134 0 #12 August 23, 2010 I've never played DnD but I did play a variety of RPGs when I was younger (Highschool and just out of HS) I have however not played an RPG in several years... I have a few Shadowrun and Robotech books that haven't been opened in several years... Ultimately playing an RPG isn't all bad, it fosters creativity, imagination, and problem solving skills... among other things...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
