quade 4 #1 August 26, 2010 Four "regular guys" riff on Drop Zone during their weekly movie review podcast. It's a fun show. Not "Hollywood" movie critics or even guys that attended a single class of any film school that I can see, but they're always entertaining. http://filmsack.com/2010/08/film-sack-42-“the-one-about-drop-zone”/ I haven't even listened to this yet. The second they posted it I just wanted to post it so we could all have a bit of fun.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
quade 4 #3 August 27, 2010 QuoteWhat's "riff"? Less structured than written, more structured than improv. Think of it more like jazz, but as applied to "comedy." In other words, the guys generally know approximately what they'd like to get across and might have some prepared lines to that effect, but mostly they're talking off the cuff and working the stuff in as best they can.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
MikeJD 0 #4 August 27, 2010 Pretty funny. I actually have a bit of a soft spot for 'Drop Zone'. Sure, it's often terrible but taken as a whole it's pretty entertaining. I thought these guys could have given Snipes a bit more credit, too. He does a great job with poor material - he's likeable and funny.
