Kris 0 #26 April 12, 2005 QuoteYou're not the only one that wants that exact riser. I'll add that I would want a standard mini-ring instead of the mini-force riser as well. If we get enough people together do you think we could get a larger rigging shop or a manufacture to make a set of risers like that? Ahh, yes, I forgot to state regular mini-rings as well. That's a good idea, Dave. I'm due for another set of risers anyway. Let me make some calls this week, starting with Infinity to see if we can make that happen.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
mnealtx 0 #27 April 12, 2005 All - I wanted to make clear that I wasn't trying to be a smartass or anything...just that I don't see how ANY manufacturer can make a riser that would work with every combination of parachute, slider and connector out there...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. AndyMan 7 #29 April 12, 2005 Quote I'm pretty sure that your hard housings are the new ones, and the older dive loops can be modified, I'll take care of them when I'm at Chicagoland in June. Correct. It was the loops I'm after... You rock. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I played with a rig that had the integrated slider locks on the rear risers and they were quite nice.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
DrewEckhardt 0 #31 April 12, 2005 Quote Sliders dislodging toggles is nothing new which is why several gear manufacturer's all have their own designs for trying to keep that from happening with their risers. Nearly everyone used to have hard links. With hard links my sliders never made it past the bumpers and I never had a brake fire. Now we have soft links that install without tools (like slinks), new canopies come with them, and a lot more of us use soft links. The slider on my slink equipped rig usually makes it to the risers and I have had a brake fire.

voodew1 0 #34 April 13, 2005 I have no problems with my Icon or the risers - I perfer the dive loops in the original configuration over the new. Now this slider lock thing has peaked my interest The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
PhreeZone 20 #35 April 13, 2005 Call VSE and talk to them directly. I've got just about everything on that list except the Pin toggles. I've got the AMP fittings, the slocks, the mini 3-ring, pop open dive loops. The sticking point will be the pins but I'll bet Kelly and crew will at least discuss options with you. I like the binding tape on the back side of the riser a whole lot more then the elastic keepers my old risers had.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
upndownshop 0 #36 April 20, 2005 Sun Path Easy Grip Toggles and Dive Loops. The Dive Loops were designed by PD's Jay Moleski (sp?) have been tested for 18 months and released at PIA last Jan. in Jacksonville. The Easy Grip Toggles were released at the same time. The toggles are standard with the new Odyssey while the new dive loops are an option. The loops lay nicely with the new internal rise covers on the Odyssey. The covers are designed so that you dont have to use them if you choose. The bottom corners of the reserve tray are now seamless, nothing for risers to grab and no need for additional protection. Figured I would join the band wagon on this one. Isn't R&D fun A.?

aubsmell 0 #39 June 8, 2005 Just added some clearer pictures of the dive loops, and anti-twist hard housings. There was some mention that the last pics were hard to see.
