I definitely don't plan to stop traveling, or having fun once we have kids. We're already discussing the possibility of taking a "family trip" to LP next year.
That trip may not pan out, but I sure don't expect our lives to be over just because we have children.
Anyway, for all of those who don't want kids, that's great that you're self-aware enough to know that. I would never judge someone based on the fact that they do or do not want kids. Just like the decision to skydive, it should be a PERSONAL choice. I've always wanted them. My husband has always wanted them. It's not something we're doing because we're "bored" or "expected by society".

Personally I couldn't skydive (or BASE) with clear conscience if I had children, so I basically have to choose between the two. And since I'm a selfish bastard I choose free fall.
The whole overpopulation, save the environment, protect mother earth BS is just nonsense.

The basic point is that we won't fuck up the planet, but we will eventually drive the planet to a point where it won't be able to sustain human life anymore. And since its not happening during my life time I don't give a damn. And since I don't have children who might suffer due to this I care even less.
