verticalflyer 11 #1 April 10, 2005 I need a decent gear bag, its crazy using my backpack which is crammed full wingsuit, 2 rigs, camera helmet camera gear etc. I also feel sucha hobo when I ask for a repack and have great kit but no bag for it. So something tough, good straps, will travel well with wear from airport baggage monkeys and capable of taking 2 rigs plus camera gear ideally or two bags. Any recommendations greatfully recieved. ltdiver 3 #2 April 10, 2005 You could try a Pelican Case or Storm Case. Both are great and sturdy. However, if you want to put all your stuff in one case....and check it at the airport....remember they have weight limits. I believe it used to be 70 lbs and recently went down to 50 lbs. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Any recommendations greatfully recieved. It sounds as though a hard case would work best for you. It wil offer maximum protection for your gear. You will appreciate the the wheels on some hard case if you fly commercially with your gear often. I would suggest a seperate case for camera equipment. This is so you can use articulated foam lining, which will protect your cameras very well. A second case also will help ensure that your gear does not exceed airline weight limits. I hope this is helpful. . For Great Deals on Gear
MikeForsythe 0 #4 April 10, 2005 I fly commercially 2-3 times a month with two rigs, suits and cameras and I have found that Aero Tech Products gear bag and a small Pelican case for the camera gear works the best. One of the best things that I like about the gear bag is that the smaller bag on it comes off and becomes a day bag. It is very well built and has plenty of room.Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!
verticalflyer 11 #5 April 11, 2005 Thanks everyone, will check out the products, though I may have a solution in the form of a very tough tandem paraglider kit bag I have found. Thanks again FraserDont just talk about it, Do it!
