Question about goggles

File this under "dumb newbie question", but can you get prescription goggles? I have trouble wearing contacts and can't see a darn thing w/o my glasses.

I think there is someone that advertises in Parachutist that makes prescription googles. I know of a few people that just brought in goggles to a Eye dr and and them fitted with a prescription lense.

Yes, a couple of places make prescription goggles. They advertise in both Parachutist and Skydiving.

A jumper I know got prescription inserts for his goggles from an optometrist.
Fergs can shed more light onto this if he sees this post.

There are several choices available. The best bet is to find goggles that fit your face well and can be outfitted with perscription lenses.
