Having your work calls recorded

Where I work they regularly record incoming calls and critique them. Drives me nuts. Anyone else work that way?

Call me paranoid but I think they probably can record outgoing too.

Literally everything I do at work is recorded with video and audio. I like it. I have absolutely nothing to hide (I do my job to the best of my ability with a high level of professionalism) and people get caught making stuff up when they call in to complain. So it protects me more than I'm worried about it.

Every phone conversation you make on a company phone is recorded.
Every phone number you contact on a company cell phone is recorded.
Every text message you send or receive on a company device is recorded.
Every keystroke you make on a company computer is recorded.
Every email you've ever written using the company system is recorded.
Every draft of an email you've ever written using the company system is recorded.
Anything you've ever done on any company owned or subsidized device has been recorded.

That's not paranoia, that's simply how things work.

Yup, my work vehicle is GPS tracked. That's good for me as well in more than a few ways.

All calls I make to my dispatcher are recorded.

It keeps everyone honest. I haven't had a situation where I was told something that was later denied and the recorded call proved who was lying and who was telling the truth, but I know of both drivers and dispatchers who have.
