Have any of you ever created a Hackintosh?

I have a friends HP Pavillion DV8000 and upgraded it to Win7, the problem is that no working driver exists for audio.

I was thinking about turning it Mac, have you used this method or any particular distro?

I have original Mac OS X dvd's as well.

Your advice would be appreciated, especially if you know what you are doing.

I could figure it out given time... but I have no time.

Thanks in advance

Making a hackintosh isn't going to be any easier than getting the drivers you need... trust me.

I turned my dell into a hack, it worked somewhat well, but not better than windows 7.

Try finding a vista driver, that should work.

Yeah, it can be kind of a bitch to keep track of which hardware is in a computer.

I just download all of the drivers available for my service tag (dell) and keep them in a folder in a few places, if I ever have to format and start over, I atleast have the drivers as a base.
