This is something you "want" to do?:o

Glad for ya then, I guess....[:/]

She's in the Army. Is there really a choice? :P

First off, (thank you to her, for your service)...

BUT, I can't figure out why anyone would "want' to go to Korea![:/]

True that, but if I was in the Army, I'd want to stand at the edge of the DMZ and drop my pants and moon the DPRK sentries. :D

Clarification: My husband is in the Army, not me. I will pass on the thanks to him.

But yes, this is something I want. I actually had to talk him into asking for Korea. It's a pretty neat place.

My best friend was on the Olympic Rings jump in Seoul. They stayed around for a few days after the opening ceromonies to see the city. He and his wife are both vegetarians. When they went through a market and saw some dogs, they said, "Wow, they sell pets here in the market," Then someone told them, "No. This is the livestock area." They left the market.:P

Just don't bang any sick looking korean dudes over there...they have this disease called Black Syphillis...once you contract it...you cannot leave the country because you have less than 6 months to live.

When did Korea become and "Accompanied" Tour?

Any way have fun with it and use what time you there to explore! My Visits where always too short.

Matt

Well it has been for at least a decade, and even if it wasnt, I'd still be going. My mother and I went when I was younger "unaccompanied." The visas arent that hard to come by. Especially when you are Korean :)
It's still one of my favorite place to live, and Im pretty excited to have the opportunity to go back as an adult.

:D Yes, they do have puppy farms. Supposedly, the longer the cooks, the better it tastes. I never tried it while I was there last time, probably wont this time around either.

My son hated his year in Korea more than his time in Iraq.
