Andy9o8 2 #3 October 30, 2010 QuoteBST ends Sunday morning I never quite understood why it's so commonly referred to as a loss or gain of "an hour's sleep". Except for those who are scheduled to be somewhere early on a Sunday morning, it makes no difference: it's always on Sunday. Sorry if I'm being a buzz kill. shropshire 0 #7 October 30, 2010 BST is British Summer Time... as opposed to GMT - Greenwich Mean Time (Zulu). Some folks call it daylight saving - not sure why cuz it make not difference to the amount of day light (.)Y(.) MikeJD 0 #21 October 31, 2010 You could have just gone to bed an hour earlier. That seems to me like a better prospect than 6 months of dark evenings. The only good thing about putting the clocks back in the winter is that it gives us something to look forward to in March.
