Twizzlers packaging and the act of trying to get one out from the end of the bag reminds me of a hardpull. More specifically Germain's video where the bridle is at the end of the pouch, pulled, bunching shit up.

As a triple rated instructor and long time jumper, I have to condescendingly tell you you're doing it all wrong and have poor technique. Twizzlers are supposed to stick together. You're obviously not using the proper "peel to unstick" motion.:|

You didn't complete the opening process. After separating the end, you should separate along the seam an appropriate distance to be able to perform the peel-and-stick.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

But you can't peel the length of the twizzler if you only have the end of the package open!

Some of the Twizzler packages have a "Zip Lock" on the long side. Makes it much easier to peel off a few and then seal it back up to keep them fresh. I usually notice it right after I rip the end open.:(

Edited for typos.

Hello, my name is Dave Miller and I am a Twizzleroholic.

No last names. Anonymity is paramount.

They should incorporate that into the name somehow.;)

I wouldn't know, I'm not a quitter. (and besides, now that you quoted me I can't make it go away)

A solution:
Let 'em stay stuck together...you get a bigger mouthful per bite that way.

That's how Linda Lovelace would do it anyway.
My reality and yours are quite different.
