partyboy 0 #1 March 29, 2005 I am almost done with my Mirage order form, and I have yet to choose how this rig will fit. Does anyone know the difference when they say "Fits tight, medium, loose" I would like the rig to be able to be pulled down tight, not tight as I am putting it on, any suggestions here? Up High!! kai2k1 0 #2 March 29, 2005 I would believe that they are talking about the size of the main. The harness is built to fit you. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan
diablopilot 2 #3 March 29, 2005 Actually Mirage offers their harnesses with three levels of "fit". They are custom sized but you can get them "tight" "medium" or "loose". I find medium to be just fine.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
partyboy 0 #4 March 29, 2005 Thanks JP, I am glad that someone decides to reply to me. I hope my rig works out for me! Glad to hear your Mirage is nice, as well. Up High!!
larsrulz 0 #5 March 29, 2005 I was definitely leaning towards a tight fit with my G3, but was recommended to go with a medium fit by the person who measured me and had lots of experience with measuring for mirages. Took her advice and glad that I did, the medium fit definitely came back tight. Not too tight, but definitely what I was hoping for. I got a strong urge to fly, but I got no where to fly to. -PF
riggerrob 643 #6 March 29, 2005 Also ask yourself if you will do much jumping in cold weather, wearing, long johns, turtleneck, fleece pants, sweater, another sweater, balaclava, etc. In that case, order a "loose" fitting harness.
