Soon as i can get the cash im buying a nitrogen system for it. Any tips on setti all that up? Keg works is the place to get it. Get the regular shit beer kegerator package and upgrade it to the Guinness tap/faucet and nitrogen bottle/gauge. You'll get the shit beer tap/faucet and Co2 bottle with the kit, just set it in the corner. I do recommend that you get 2 Nitrogen bottles from the get go as it can be tricky to find a supply of beer mix (75/25 %) that will refill you when you need it. I keep one Nitrogen bottle in reserve so I can swap out if one runs dry. You will have to play with your Nitrogen level at first to find the right amount. I found the recommended amount(30 psi I believe) to be a good starting point and then adjust it from there until you can get consistent pours. If you drink Guinness a lot, a keg is WAY cheaper than buying it any other way, even with the investment in the kegerator. Plus you don't have empties to throw away or have to run to the store and hope they have it in stock."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

Balance balance balance! The biggest problem with kegerators are unbalanced systems (i.e. high pressure and short product hose or vice versa.) Here's a good page on that: https://www.kegman.net/balance.html BTW if you don't want to dedicate a whole refrigerator, these work really well (but you have to make the beer that goes in them) http://www.williamsbrewing.com/DUAL_C02_BEVERAGE_SYSTEM_P2659C44.cfm
NWFlyer 2 #55 November 22, 2010 Not a drink, but some day I will make these ... I just need to have the patience since they look like more work than "open box, add egg and oil" ... which is the way I usually make cupcakes. http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/01/car-bomb-cupcakes/"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. A keg (16 gals) runs about $140.00 +/-, so no matter what it costs on sale in cans/bottles it's gonna be hard to beat the keg price."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
