We used to go to the Durant Iowa POlKA FEST every year. It was like 10 bucks to get in, beer was a buck and EVERYWHERE. The entire town was flowing and thousands of people (literally) were there. It was incredibly fun, and almost worth the UmPah Band on every corner.

I'd pay twenty of my fine English pounds (less than the cost of a jump ticket over here!) And yes, I'd prefer to bring my own beer - just to avoid the queues.
