Im going to put up a pic a day until I run out of shots of what Ive taken over the last 6 yrs since Ive been in New Zealand.

This is of one of NZ's most beautiful Native birds, the New Zealand pigeon. It is also a protected species
Its name is Kereru.

Sadly some Norweigian visitors were here a few months ago shooting them. They were stupid enough to put a video online too .. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sraTGKjafpc

This is of a plane crash in Whananaki. The pilot lost control on landing and veered off the runway into the local estuary. No one was hurt in the incident.

Something a little different today.
My boy was 3 years old on Saturday so we held a pirate party for him and he had a special guest, Festus Mcboyle the Pirate.
