And I didn't mean it to come off as being an asshole comment but merely an opinion. Things really have changed since I retired 6 years ago I guess. Sorry about what I said last night. I had been working on that slideshow for many hours (including last night). BBeing in the service I TOTALLY understand. I was "under pressure" to make sure this thing came out as good as I could possibly make it, and you know what? No matter how many times I THINK Ive got a good product, I always go back and find a way I could improve it. Once one enters that mindframe he thinks "well my time and shit HAS to be worth something here". Bottom line, I'm doing something for someone I respect (a lot), and my frustrations shouldn't enter into it. The plus side is that now Ive got several people who took my number to put togeather future slideshows (at a price of course). And to top it all off, the best part for me was when her kids saw the pics and said "who's that?" then the grandmother tells them "that's your mom when she was your age". I'm pretty sure he is past the 'compensation" problem....I've never made a dime off a memorial video....I think they come out better when it is from the heart! The last one I did , the person died while holding my hand.......My heart went deep into making that Video!
