nicknitro71 0 #51 March 30, 2005 I guess it comes down to choices, as usual. If I have to pack an "unusual" rig that I have never packed or that I am not current with (such as military surplus) I tell the costumer either to find a current rigger for the rig or if s/he is not in a hurry to wait for me to go to see Handsome Dave and learn how to do it right. I like the latter way so I can make it a learning experience and also I'll be able to pack it the next time around.Memento Audere Semper
wingnut 0 #52 March 31, 2005 QuoteA rigger who charges more to pack a Racer or Refelx for instance is in my eyes unethical naw, they might not like em hence they charge more if you want themto do it, don't want to pay more, go elsewhere.... what pisses me off is that lasttimei got my rig packed i went to my rigger and asked and he said he would pack it, then i get the bill and it was 75 bucks for the repack vs. the normal 50, would of been nice for him to tell me that it was gona be an extra 25 as i would of taken my rig elsewhere.....i didn't feel like arguing with him about it and paid, lets just say he not ever getting my rig back..... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
