So I'm curious - if 5'5" and under is the "proper" size for me to be, where should I take off the 5" from my height? I'm thinking if I took it off the top I'd end up looking pretty gruesome with only a small part of my head remaining. If I chop off at the ankles, it might be less noticeable, but then there's that lack of feet problem that I'd have. My knees have been nothin' but trouble - maybe I'll just chop those suckers off and reattach the legs. That should get me five inches.

Damn women we met in person but you were sitting down. 5''10" is adequate in my book. So if you ever date the shah just meet him sitting down.

Seems like it. Now she's graduating, living in Boston, has a motorcycle. She's our oldest, with the youngest finishing High School this year. Here's a pic she did for some internet thing.

There is no profession better for a girl.
She most likely spent time in class where there was 1 girl for every.....30 guys? Give or take?
Where the saying between the engineers was "If her eyebrows are not connected and she's not wearing sweat pants she's hot!"

Had a date on any given day. Just point to a guy and dictate the terms and conditions of said date.
Will likely land a job faster than the guys and at a higher starting pay and odds are she will quickly move up the ranks into middle to upper middle management.
As one HR rep once told me "She's a woman engineer, as long as she has not killed anyone or sold off state secrets to Cuba she will be promoted if she has a pulse or a brain or turrets we don't care, she fills the quota."

Just don't let her do anything stupid such as deciding engineering is not her gig and run off to teaching. To quote a good friend who did this after 5 years of making $100k+ doing very little and having a date every Friday, "Oh Shah this sucks! I have to take work home with me and well....I have to shave my legs and actually flirt to get dates! Why didn't you tell me I was dumb for leaving engineering?"

You know similar to being the only single girl with or with out a pulse at any DZ

When two smart people raise a well adjusted kid that does well in school, it is obviously the kid's looks/gender that will get them hired/promoted.

If that's the case, then you bragging about your salary and the company paying for your schooling has got to be only due to you actually being 6'-1", having a 48" chest and 34" waist with 6 pack abs and a full head of curly hair.

Either that or you are banging your uni-brow boss that wears sweat pants.

Take a deep breath and step back and look at the big picture.

Look at his background, and where he lives. It's the New york thing. Think Madoff,and his family and circle of friends. They were rock stars

Look at the people on this web sight that live in Cali, posting pics of their homes and can't figure out why everyone can't be like them.

As far as the women thing getting a free walk Think about the bean count.

Lots of groups get special attention. The confused Maj at Ft Hood was a total zero but got special attention for 10 yr's because he was a good bean. The shah doesn't think his background gives his company a good bean.

The only reason the women at the DZ get special attention is because the DZ dogs give it to them. Take it or leave it.

Look guys I know you hate to hear it but...well it's true.
The last numbers were what...15 guys / 1 girl graduated with a BS in Engineering.

If you want to qualify for a given government contract you MUST have a given quantity and type of people in given locations. And well if one of those requirements is to have X number of women in Y number of spots you better hurry up and promote them or hire them to qualify for that big government deal.

The same for dating. You have 1 girl to again let's say 15 guys.....over time no matter what her flaws she starts looking more and more as a catch of a life time. And well eventually a girl who could not get a drink if she paid for it is now treated as if she is a trophy girlfriend. Which is all fine and good....

The above two points are just the way life rolls. I'm not angry about it and no one should ever get angry about it. Not as if things will change any time soon. And if me pointing out the obvious is an issue. Well...what can I say? I'm sorry?

The best job / patch for education for a smart girl at this time is the field of engineering. There are plenty of grants available and set aside, school will work hard to keep her enrolled and odds are when she graduates in 4 years she will land a stellar job. It is what it is.

No anger, no disrespect, no nothing...it's just the way the world works at the moment.
