Guest #1 May 3, 2011 Hello all, Got back from a 4-day trip to Jordan last night. If you ever get a chance, I strongly recommend going there - it has some of the most amazing landscapes these eyes have ever seen, full of natural and man-made wonders, such as Petra, and Wadi Rum. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." TriGirl 343 #2 May 3, 2011 Jordan is one of my favorite places in the world to visit! I remember my first time there. I had a day off from the embassy, so I got another Marine and we headed down to Petra. It was kind of odd to just be driving down the highway (across the desert). Had such a great time I convinced my friends to take a 4-day SCUBA/sightseeing trip a few months later. Glad you had a good time! Southern_Man 0 #3 May 3, 2011 I had the good fortune to spend 8 weeks in Jordan as part of an archeological dig. I really enjoyed my time there and got to see large parts of the country including the two places you mentioned. I would love to go back some day."What if there were no hypothetical questions?" I do not like such lists, but Jordan is superlative. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
