McDonnell didn't have anything to do with the Spirit of St. Louis and that absolutely wouldn't have been the actual aircraft anyway. Maybe the flying replica built for the Jimmy Stewart movie? Not that the Mercury capsule is an actual one either. That also looks like Edwards AFB.
