Very Cool inventions ....

Recommended Posts

Pretty cool stuff. I am curious as to how they remove it once its in place or if its a fire and forget concept. The inflatable shelters they use as an understructure, from what I could see in the video, seem to be a tad behind what is currently out there. An assembled unit like that would require a dedicated Generator heating/cooling unit just for basic ventilation and comfort.

I think the concrete fabric is pretty trick in itself. I am curious as to what its rated strength is as well as longevity. Very cool invention indeed.

I still think some other inventions are pretty cool as well.

Showers.
Air conditioning.
Internal combustion engines.
Thong underwear.
;)

Don't forget the thermos! You put something hot in it and it stays hot. You put something cold in it and it stays cold. ...How does it know!? :o

Hi shrop,

Quite a few years ago Andy Rooney ( who is an occasional commentator on the American tv show '60 Minutes' ) listed his 10 greatest inventions of the 20th century.

The two that I remember are the paper clip & the garage door opener.

He might have also said the tv remote control but I am not sure on that one.

I did a Google search and could not find his list.

Anyone remember the rest of them?

PS) That concrete building is pretty cool for a 'getter done now' type of thingy.
