jrmrangers 0 #1 May 19, 2011 So i ordered myself a michigan suit the other day and used pay pal to make payment. Next thing i know i get an email that pay pal froze my account due to suspicious activity. When i called to straighten it out they said that i had never used pay pal to pay for anything skydiving related and since NORMAL customers dont buy skydiving gear they froze my account! After about a half hour of red tape i got my account active and michigan Mike got his payment. Just got a chuckle out of "normal"Wait , I pull what first? jumpsalot-2 3 #2 May 20, 2011 What is " Skydining ".....if you call it "Skydiving" they might let you buy something.........I try to only use Paypal. I've bought tons of Skydive and BASE equipment using them.......Maybe it was the guys / girls first day.... Life is short ... jump often.

BrokenR1 0 #5 May 20, 2011 Isn't that thought process backwards. Wouldn't a thief use a stolen account for so called "normal" stuff to avoid attention? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rap is to music what etch-a-sketch is to art. jrmrangers 0 #6 May 20, 2011 IT was getting shipped to my home address too, i said that. What drove me nuts was that even though the charge was legit they made me change all of my security information since they froze the account for suspicous charges.Wait , I pull what first? Nataly 38 #7 May 20, 2011 Well, if you have been using paypal for a while, they build up a "profile" of your typical behaviour. It's kind of a good thing that unusual transactions get flagged up, even though it's a pain. My bank/credit card/ebay account have all been blocked at one point or another because I travel and have some pretty random purchasing habits... I HATE shopping, for instance, so I will wait and wait and wait to go buy ANYTHING until I *need* a bunch of stuff... Then my card gets blocked because in one afternoon I try to make like 10 purchases... It rather looks like someone grabbed my card and went on a shopping spree!!
