I just put an avacado seed in a little ceramic cup for and kept adding water half way up and now I have a little tree! I'm so proud of myself. My brother once put an avocado seed in a cup in my room, and stuck it in my closet to rot... oh the smell!!!! be careful Shannon!!!! I wanted to grow an alvacado tree a while back and seriously tried to make the seeds grow roots first like you would a potatoe. You know..I forced a toothpic into each side and sat it over a cup of water that barely touched it. I never saw any roots growing after a long time so trashed it.
