divnswoop 0 #2 February 23, 2005 QuoteCan anyone tell me about the Majik Bootie Modification on a Bev suit. The Majik Bootie has two strips running down the front of the bootie. About 2 inches to the left and two inches to the right of the center of the bootie runs a "seam" of fabric double or triple folded and sewn. It creates a flater surface and therefor more drag/forward movement. It also does the same(better air deflection) if you lay your leg over. Most people at my dz noticed a big difference between majik and reg booties.
karlm 0 #3 February 23, 2005 Correct the "Majik Pleeted Mega Bootie" is the one to go for, I have noticed an increased amount of effectiveness and drive either while turning or tracking. The basic idea is it keeps the bootie stiff, which means more effective air flow management on the legs. Theses are the options I got on my NEW Suit: - Mega Pleeted Booties - Fat Grippers - Inside leg grippers - Cordura Grips - Cordura Knees - Cordura seat - Cordura booties - Cool Max Lining They are by far the best suit above the earth Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there.
